- The account of the history of the house
- The careful surveying of the general circumference of the house.
- The Garden and surrounding trees
- Basement: All areas including behind piping and boiler rooms/storage areas, door-frames and windows.
- Ground floor: Door frames, doors, windows, kitchen units, cabinets, floors, furniture.
- First floor: Door frames, doors, windows, floors, wardrobes, bathroom cabinets.
- Roof: Thorough check of all roof areas inside and outside.
- A written certificate of inspection.
